1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AnteRoom, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

AnteRoom is a professional networking application for business travelers. It enables users to discover and meet verified professionals at airports during layovers and transit. The service includes profile creation, meeting requests, session scheduling, chat, and a contribution system (Earth Fund).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid LinkedIn account to use AnteRoom. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and current information
• You may not impersonate another person or create misleading profiles
• One account per person — duplicate accounts will be removed
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

5. Professional Conduct

AnteRoom is a professional networking tool. You agree to:

• Conduct yourself professionally in all interactions
• Not use the platform for personal dating or non-professional purposes
• Not harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Not send spam, unsolicited promotions, or misleading messages
• Respect the time-bounded nature of meetings
• Provide honest and fair session ratings

6. Payments & Transit Passes

• First 2 transits are free
• Paid transit passes are non-refundable once activated
• 20% of every purchase is automatically allocated to the Earth Fund
• Pricing may change with 30 days notice
• Payments are processed through RevenueCat / Google Play / Apple App Store
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes

7. Earth Fund

• 20% of every transit pass purchase is contributed to the Earth Fund
• You choose the allocation: ocean plastic removal or tree planting
• Contributions are non-refundable
• Impact metrics are estimates based on partner organization rates
• First allocations begin April 2027

8. Privacy & Data

Your use of AnteRoom is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in AnteRoom is the property of AnteRoom and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

AnteRoom is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Outcomes of meetings arranged through the app
• Accuracy of user profiles or representations
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions of other users

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for transit passes in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where the Data Controller is established.
